I was having some downtime from studying this weekend and decided to revisit a shot I took during a @harrisoncameras photo event that they hosted in Sheffield. It was my favourite shot taken during the street photography walk. However, I originally turned everything black and white because the photography host said street photography should be black and white. I know now that isn't actually true, although most street photographers will shoot black and white. I decided to process the shot again and this time in colour. I like it a lot more, and it just shows that not everything should be black and white.
There should be reasons behind taking photos in black and white, rather than just adding black and white as some kind of preset. Black and white is there to add to photos, not remove from them.
